STRAVON GAME ESTATE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
2007-2008

A 30% deposit of the total package price is required at confirmation of hunt with Stravon Game Estate to secure your hunt and accommodation options with us.

Deposits are to be made in New Zealand dollars and can be paid by direct bank transfer or credit card (Visa / MasterCard) At time of booking we will give you our bank account details in New Zealand so if you choose you can direct transfer your deposit to our account.

Final Payment is due on arrival to Stravon Game Estate or any other hunting area that we use before the start of your hunting Safari or any other tour organised by us.
At time of payment we require that you pay with Cash or Travellers Cheques only please.

If the balance of payment is not received when due then Stravon Game Estate reserves the right to treat the reservation as cancelled until final payment is received.

All prices include New Zealand Goods and Services Tax of 12.5% which is a New Zealand government tax and are quoted to you in US Dollars unless stated otherwise.

Refund Policies

If you cancel your reservation the deposit paid is non-refundable but may be transferable at the discretion of Stravon Game Estate to later in the year or to the following hunting season. Any remaining balance paid will be refunded less any additional expenses incurred at the request of the client. At time of refund calculations will be made according to international exchange rates.

Travel Insurance

Due to the nature of your chosen sport Stravon Game Estate recommends that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy covering trip cancellation for medical reasons; trip delay; medical expenses; accidental death; lost baggage; and medical evacuation.

Liability Waiver

Clients will be required to sign a Liability Waiver release document before commencing any hunting trip or activity that you have booked with Stravon Game Estate or Stravon Safaris. This document will be part of the information pack emailed to you at time of booking.

Stravon Game Estate hunts work under the African hunting system. It is up to the hunter to have spent satisfactory time with his or her rifle of choice before they commence a hunting safari. It is therefore stated here that trophies wounded and lost are counted as being shot. Trophy fees paid at start of hunt will not be refunded if this is the case. If after all reasonable measures have been taken to locate your trophy and it cannot be found then we offer you to select another for the trophy fee and all costs associated to that animal. If we at a later date find the original animal that you selected then we will contact you and get the head freighted to you at no extra cost so you can get it mounted.

Hunt packages are inclusive of daily guide fees and trophy fees for specified animals field prep of trophies, complimentary transfers to and from Christchurch airport to Stravon Game Estate and other hunting areas, all meals & accommodation. Daily fees allow for Hunting area homestead or cabin accommodation. If you require luxury accommodation please contact us for our 2007 packages.

With increased security in the airline industry and also the risk of damaging your expensive rifles in baggage compartments while you travel here please feel free to have the use of any of our top quality firearms free of charge for the duration of your stay. Ammunition not included but can be purchased at cost.

In our package hunts Red Stags are Trophy Silver Medal class unless otherwise stated or requested. If while on hunt you decide to select more trophies or upgrade to a larger animal than first booked then all trophy fees and daily fees that are associated must be paid in full with Cash or Travellers Cheques before you depart the services or property of Stravon Game Estate or Stravon Safaris.

Helicopter time unless allowed for in package, shipping or expediting, crating, documentation and taxidermy of Trophies are additional expenses paid in full before you depart Stravon Game Estate or our other hunting areas.

Upon confirming your hunt with Stravon Game Estate or Stravon Safaris Clients will be required to sign a copy of these Terms and Conditions. Upon your signature you accept all conditions set out above.
